Artnet Control of Showcontroller

I mainly wanted to get a confirmation that ArtNet control is definitely working in LIVE. I tried it with another DMX/ArtNet Software (DMXControl 3) and with that it does indeed work. So it seems to be a SoundSwitch problem. I have to investigate that further. It's weird because in ArtNetominator they behave exactly the same way, but for some reason Showcontroller doesn't accept the data from SoundSwitch...

I'd like to bring this topic up again as I have problems getting ArtNet control in LIVE to work as well.

I just got a second DS-1000RGB mk3 with a ShowController dongle. I'm using SoundSwitch as my main lighting control software and want to control the Lasers with it as well, using the ArtNet control capability of ShowController LIVE.

In SoundSwitch, I enabled ArtNet and patched the 11 Showcontroller DMX channels from 10 to 21 on Universe 0, Subnet 0 (for testing I also put it on Universe 1 Subnet 0 but that doesn't work either).
 
 

In ArtNetominator I can see, that SoundSwitch is sending the channel data out correctly on both Universes.
Also Showcontroller is showing up in SoundSwitch (tho it has displays a weird IP address in there).
 

In LIVE, I set up ArtNet IN to Universe 0, Subnet 0 and enabled control. I also enabled ArtNet Out (is this necessary?)
I also closed ArtNetominator to avoid Darren's issue.
 

So only SoundSwitch and Showcontroller LIVE are running, data is sent but nothing happens in LIVE. The faders don't change, no Laser output.

I'm using the current version 2024 of Showcontroller.

Any ideas what else I could try?

Thansk for coming back to me. I managed to get this working - issue was that I had ArtNetominator still open, once I closed it Showcontroller worked.
